Brandon Summer Fair 2011 - Miniature Horse show - Great to look back at where it all started!

On June 8th,  we attended the Brandon Summer Fair and all three girls took their turn showing their horses for the first time.   I am SO PROUD of how well they did.   All three girls brought home ribbons but most of all they had a blast and learned a lot.  We plan to attend the Mantioba International Miniature Horse Show in July and also one local fair show.   I think it's safe to say the kids are hooked on showing.  Mom and Dad don't mind it either!    I'm equally as proud of our two horses  Yahoo and Tory.  It was a first outing for them and they did great too.  Very well behaved and cooperated with everything!!   Looking forward to the next Show!!!

MANITOBA INTERNATIONAL SHOW - 2011

Sunday July 17, 2011 we attended the Manitoba International Show in Brandon.  There were a lot of beautiful horses there and we had a great time visiting with friends and making new ones.  It was a very HOT weekend and aside from Josie having heat stroke Saturday night, she felt better in the morning and all went well.   Many more ribbons were won and the girls had a blast.   We are so proud of our girls and their horses.    I thought I'd share some pictures of that day,  my camera was not working well but I did manage to get a few good ones.  Looking forward to the 2012 show season... my girls tell me we are taking five horses to the shows!!! 

Manitoba Summer Fair Show and Manitoba International Show 2012

The summer of 2012 was a busy one, we attended the two horse shows in Brandon showing five horses at the first and four at the second.   The girls and their horses did very well bringing home tons of Ribbons!!!  Most of which are now hanging on their walls.  I can't list everything but at the end of the year we received our AMHR  Canadian All Star Awards.  I want to show off the girls and their horses as I am so proud of all of them.  Pictured below are the girls each with their favorite horse and the All Star Awards that horse received for 2012.  The coming shows in 2013 will be challenging with more horses and bigger shows.  This year all my girls are in the same age division!!
